In my opinion, Figma is one of the best design tools available right now. The tool itself is incredibly intuitive, especially if you’ve worked with other tools like Sketch or Adobe XD.
The collaboration features are amazing if you work with other designers on the daily. Not only does Figma allow you to share your files, but also you can work in the same file, at the same time, with another designers.
Another huge benefit is that Figma works on Mac AND Windows. And actually you don’t even need to install a desktop app. You can work right from your browser and have all the same great features.
The cherry on top here is that Figma is free. That’s right, free. If you’re just getting started in UX or UI Design and you don’t want to break the bank on a design tool, you can get Figma for free. If you’re a business and you have multiple designers there’s a subscription model that’s still relatively inexpensive.
Ready to get started? Try Figma for free at Figma.com
The tutorial above is part of the Butter Academy Online UX Design Course. In addition to Wireframes, the course covers the entire UX Design process including: research, design, testing and delivery. If you’re interested in learning more about the course, you can tap on the link above or below.
